We don’t take risks at your expense and that is why we ensure to carry out a skin test before any hair colour treatments. This is due to the fact that, even though hair colourants are strictly regulated, some people can still react negatively against colourants.
We understand you are busy. Sometimes it's difficult to find time to call the salon and arrange an appointment.
That's why we're giving you control of your appointment.

At Julian’s, we know that your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life. As a result, we go the extra mile to make sure that you feel amazing on your special day.
There are many questions that need to be considered when thinking about your wedding hair, such as;
How will it hold up during the entire day?
Will it photograph well?
Should you wear it up or down?
It's an unfortunate fact of life that, as we age, our body begins to break down. In the face this occurs as collagen and muscle wastage, resulting in sagging and wrinkling of the skin.
Previously there have been only expensive and intimidating surgical options to combat these results. However, using the latest technology, methods and techniques there are now a range of non-surgical options which produce natural improvements to help you roll back the years.

Hello I’m Lorna
I love my job and can’t imagine doing anything but hairdressing. I've been at Julian’s a very long time (28 years!) with a couple of short breaks to travel and have two children! During this time I've had a number or roles one of which was a salon manager which I gave up when I went part time (I work Tuesdays, Fridays and every other Saturday).
At Julian’s we've always done what we can to raise money for charity. We bake cakes, organise raffles and can be found wearing an assortment of colours, sportswear, head boppers and red noses! This is why it should come as no surprise to our clients to see nearly every member of staff joining in with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
We are proud to launch our new website! Here we will be taking booking requests and answering questions on products and services as well as offering tips and hints on looking after your hair. We will be looking to send newsletters out as well containing news, tips and information so please keep checking your inbox. We hope you like the website – please look around and let us know what you think!

On the 18th of October at The Regency Hotel in Thatcham a Breast Cancer awareness catwalk show was held. Brave ladies who suffered from Breast Cancer were dressed by local businesses and styled by members of staff from Julian’s who were happy to help with such a good cause. Special thanks to Michael, Amy, Julian, Lauren, Vicky and Lorna for helping out.
Over £6,000 was raised during the event which was a resounding success! Take a look at our pictures from the event
